Dancing Garden
Dancing Garden – A Prayer in Bloom
There are moments when the world becomes too heavy for words.
Moments when sorrow spills across borders and headlines carry more weight than we can bear.
It was during one such moment—May 1st, 2022—that I released a simple video called Dancing Garden.
A quiet offering.
A prayer wrapped in melody and petals.
The footage shows woodland lilies blooming in fast motion—rising, twirling, as if reaching toward heaven in a silent, sacred dance.
Each flower lifts its head like a whispered hallelujah.
Even in chaos, nature moves in harmony.
“For we know that all creation keeps on groaning together and being in pain together until now.”
— Romans 8:22
The music behind it was written back in 2011.
I had no idea then that it would find its voice years later—at a time when the world seemed to unravel.
When the war in Ukraine broke out, like so many others, I watched in helpless grief.
I couldn’t stop the violence.
But I could offer something.
So I gave what I had—music, scripture, and a prayer.
We Are All Connected
“Inspired by the inter-connectivity of all life on earth. We are all connected whether we are aware of it or not.
As a global community, we share in a collective joy and a collective pain. So let there be peace to all…”
I wrote these words in the description, not as a poet or a composer, but as one soul speaking to another.
This video includes a message not just in English, but also in Ukrainian and Russian. Not to choose sides—but to reach hearts on every side.
To say: we see you, we grieve with you, we long for peace with you.
Because we’re all in this garden together.
And when one part of the garden burns, the whole field feels the smoke.
This is why I pray for God’s kingdom like so many others who pray the Lord’s prayer (Matt 6:9,10). …For God to step in and remove war and suffering.
Isa 9:6,7 gives me hope when it says:
For a child has been born to us… His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
To the increase of his rulership and to peace, there will be no end… The zeal of Jehovah of armies will do this.
