Don’t You Worry
Inspiration: Matthew 6:34; Isaiah 41:10, 13
In a world that constantly pushes us to plan, predict, and control, anxiety about the future can quietly steal our peace. Yet Jesus said:
📖 “Never be anxious about the next day, for the next day will have its own anxieties.” — Matthew 6:34
That simple truth inspired the song “Don’t You Worry.”
It reminds us that we don’t walk into tomorrow alone. Jehovah doesn’t just promise to help—He promises to hold our hand.
📖 “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.” — Isaiah 41:10
📖 “For I, Jehovah your God, am grasping your right hand, the One saying to you, ‘Do not be afraid. I will help you.’” — Isaiah 41:13
When fear whispers, “What if?”, Jehovah answers softly, “I’m already there.”
🎵 Lyrics
[Intro]
Mhm, mhm, yeah
Ahh, don’t you worry now
[Verse 1]
Everybody’s got their storms,
But He knows how to calm the sea.
When you feel you’re all alone,
He whispers, “Child, just lean on Me.”
[Chorus]
Don’t you worry ’bout the future,
Don’t you worry, my child.
’Cause I’ll be walking right beside you,
Holding your hand through every trial.
[Verse 2]
They may say your hope’s a dream,
That you should chase some other plan.
But I’ll be standing right beside you,
When I make all things new again.
[Bridge]
When you stumble or you fall,
He’s the strength beneath it all.
He will lift you when you cry
Every tear He will dry.
[Chorus 2]
Don’t you worry ’bout the future,
Don’t you worry, my friend.
Jehovah’s love will never fail you,
He’s faithful to the end.
[Outro / Vocal riff]
Father, Father, Father
Don’t you worry, yeah-ah-ah.
God’s got you in His plan
Father, Father, Father
Don’t you worry, yeah-ah-ah.
God’s got you in His plan
Don’t you worry ’bout the future.
Don’t you worry ’bout the future.
